Theo will give a tour through his experiences in healthcare usability over the past 10 years. Experiences that he will discuss include co-founding an Electronic Medical Records software company in 1999 to produce an early tablet PC software system based on a graphical navigation system, something new to the healthcare industry at the time; serving as Healthcare Chairman for World Usability Day 2007 and working for WUD both globally and locally in Phoenix; and designing and prototyping the UI for a multi-million dollar enterprise-wide project for UnitedHealth that has now become the corporate standard across the company.
