Janeen Sharma and Eric Moyer from the Northrop Grumman Corporation will be discussing how to use the CIE LUV color separation method to create color palette for software design. The CIE LUV method is used to compute how distinguishable different colors are from each other by the human eye within the RGB color space (i.e. computer displays). CIE LUV is an industry wide method for creating color palettes and is sited in DOD Human Engineering guidelines for software interface design.
