Our November meeting will be held on Thursday, November 9, at the Air Force Academy on the north side of Colorado Springs. We'll tour the facilities there and hear about some of the latest research going on there!

We will meet at the Cadet Field House - or, more specifically, by the large missile in front of the Field House - by 6:00 pm. A shuttle will take our group to Fairchild Hall, where we will enjoy a pizza and salad supper (please plan to bring a few dollars to help defray the cost) and start the program. (There will also be shuttle pickups at 6:15 and 6:30 pm in case some folks get caught in traffic.) An Air Force Academy Map (with text directions) should help you get there.

Lt. Col. Terence Andre will start us off with a research overview in the HCI laboratory. After that, we will hear research presentations by the cadets listed above on the following topics:

Important Security Requirements

The Academy will need a list of attendees ahead of time, so you must RSVP to Beth Meyer (president@rmhfes.org) by November 1. Also, when you enter the Academy at the north gate, you must present your driver's license to the guard, tell the guard that you are with the Rocky Mountain Chapter Human Factors meeting, and allow him or her to briefly inspect your vehicle. Only U.S. citizens are allowed access to the Academy.

It should be a fascinating meeting - see you there!
